The problem

Everyone has AI now. Almost nobody gets value from it.

Most small businesses now pay for some kind of AI. Very few get real value from it. The tools don't talk to each other, nobody set them up for your workflows, and you have to figure it all out.

You bought AI. It's not working for you.

The ChatGPT convo you keep having over and over. Generic software with AI that you have to configure. Isolated software and AI unable to see the full picture.

Admin work eats the week

Follow-ups, intake, data entry, invoicing: the work that keeps the business running keeps you from growing it.

Leads slip through the cracks

A quote never followed up. A new customer who waited too long. Every dropped thread is revenue walking out the door.

Paperwork that should run itself

Reminders, estimates, status updates, the same email typed for the tenth time: the same steps, by hand, every time.

The evidence

The gap, in numbers.

This isn't a you problem. Almost every small business owns some AI; almost none have it doing real work. The gap between the two is exactly where help pays off.

Only 14% of small businesses have fully integrated AI into core operations.

73% say they'd benefit from help putting AI to work.

Process

Three steps.
No complexity.

01

Audit

We talk about how your business actually runs. A few days later you get a report: where your software and AI is at now, where it can be improved, and a plan to implement those improvements.

02

Build

I build the system around your workflow, integrate the tools you already use, and configure it for your business.

03

Run

Your system goes live and runs in the background. I keep it tuned, keep it working, and answer the phone when something needs attention.

Reframe

What AI can and can't do.

AI is genuinely useful now. But anyone telling you it'll run your business while you sleep is selling you something. It makes mistakes, and it needs someone who knows what they're doing to set it up right and keep it honest. That's the part everyone skips, and it's the part I do.

Nearly 8 in 10 small business owners don't trust AI to handle even routine tasks without oversight. They're right. The smart way to use AI isn't handing it the keys: it's leveraging it to do the busy work and tedious tasks, and leveraging your expertise to serve as a guardrail for the system.

You're still the pilot.

Airplanes used to require three pilots: a captain, a first officer, and a flight engineer whose whole job was watching the gauges and monitoring the aircraft. Automation took the flight engineer's job, but you still need pilots to fly the plane, reason about the monitored data, and make decisions based on it.

This system works the same way. It doesn't do anything without your say-so. It clears out the tedious watching, but you're still in the seat, still in command flying the plane.

Now you don't need to 'read the gauges' of your business. You let the system take care of that and step in to make a decision when it brings something to your attention.

Engagements

Start with an audit. Build from there.

01

Workflow audit

$1,500

credited toward your build

Three to five days. I trace how information actually moves through your business — from the first call to the paid invoice — and find where it's leaking. You get a written report with a dollar figure on each gap, a ranked list of what to fix first, and a plain read on where your data is exposed. If we build, the $1,500 comes off the build.

02

Single tool

From $2,500

from $400/month

One agent doing one job well — answering calls and booking them, chasing quotes that went quiet, requesting reviews after a job. Built around how you actually work, not a generic template. Right when the audit turns up one clear leak.

03

The platform

$5,000–8,000

$1,500/month

Your tools stop being islands. The phone agent knows what's on the calendar, the calendar knows what was quoted, and follow-up fires on its own when nobody responds. Everything in one dashboard, monitored, with a monthly report showing what it recovered.

Every build starts with the audit.

Security

Your data stays yours.

Your own private database

Every client runs on their own separate database. Your information is never mixed with anyone else's, and it physically can't cross into another client's system.

Isolated deployments

You sign in to your dashboard on your own domain. No conflating dashboards with multiple clients: you own your full workspace.

No training on your data

The AI models are Claude, run through the Anthropic API: your data is never used to train any model, it isn't kept around, and the infrastructure carries various certifications.

The person

When you work with FGH, you work with me.

FGH Software is built and run by Fred Hamer, a software engineer based in Indianapolis. Everyone else sells AI through a signup page and a help center. Every FGH system is set up in person and tuned to how the business actually works.
